Terms of Use

Using this site
BabyAwaits is a free educational resource for pregnancy, fertility and early-infancy information. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Not medical advice
BabyAwaits provides general information and estimation tools only. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using the site does not create a doctor-patient relationship. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your specific situation, and never delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something you read here. If you believe you have a medical emergency, call your provider or local emergency services immediately. See also our medical disclaimer.
Our tools produce estimates
Calculators — due dates, ovulation windows, hCG trends, growth percentiles and the rest — apply published formulas and public datasets to the numbers you enter. Results are estimates for education and planning: individual medical situations vary, and only your provider can interpret a result in the context of your care. Everything you enter is processed on your own device; see the privacy policy for details.
No warranties
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to keep formulas, data and text correct and current, and we fix reported errors quickly — but errors can occur, and medical guidance changes over time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BabyAwaits and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools — including decisions made, or not made, in reliance on any content or result.
Intellectual property
The site's text, design and code belong to BabyAwaits and may not be copied or republished without permission. Public datasets the tools rely on remain the property of their publishers and are used with attribution: U.S. Social Security Administration baby-name statistics, CDC/NCHS growth charts, and the published clinical research cited on the relevant pages.
Advertising and third parties
The site is funded by advertising served by third parties such as Google. We do not control ad content, and ads are not endorsements. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at scale, or use it in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves. The date above always reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
