Common question for week 6
When can you see the heartbeat on an ultrasound?
A flutter is often visible from about 6 weeks with a transvaginal ultrasound, sometimes a bit later. If an early scan does not show it yet, a repeat scan a week or two later usually does.
Every pregnancy is different. Sizes are averages, symptoms vary widely, and none of this replaces the guidance of your own provider.
